Chuck, it's clear that you slept through all of the political wrangling that took place about the 17 U.N. sanctions not being met or kept in the U.N. brokered Cease Fire agreement from the first Gulf War. So, why don't you just come clean and admit that as a liberal idiot, you REALLy just don't have a clue about much of anything.
And for the record Chuck, those illusive WMD were actually found. At least some of them. They were left overs from the Iran/Iraq War of 1979. But being that you slept through everything else, we couldn't possibly expect you to actually be up on all of your facts. Now can we?
So, about all of these accusations about lieing. Chuck? Carter gutted the CIA back in the 70's and left us blind to try and interpret what's going on elsewhere in the world. And Clinton was too busy getting smoked by Monica and lieing (under oath as well as to the American people) -- you guys didn't seem to mind so much then about getting lied to... Why now all of a sudden the big stink? What little facts there were, were presented and everyone (Republicans and Democrats alike) voted to go to war... Tell me Chuck. Do you know what "Sedition" and Treason" are? How might they apply today to someone like say, John Kerry who was in Egypt yesterday running his mouth about how bad the Bush Administration is? Or that he then went to Syria -- a known supporter of terrorism and did more of the same... Tell me Chuck, better yet, tell all of us, the whole friggin' world about you and sedition. So, you want to go to war in N. Korea? Guess that kind of makes you a war monger. Doesn't it Chuck?
By the way Chuck, thanks for the two points.

Well, considering how we fared back in the 50s...
It's more complex than that. Right now, China is a friend of N. Korea, perhaps N. Korea's only friend. That is our current deterrent. Add to it the idea that doing so would result in N. Korea undoubtedly attacking the south and perhaps even Japan.

We didn't at tact North Korea because they have a million man army and THE BOMB. Iran, Iraq and North Korea were on the "Axis of Evil" list. Iraq seemed to be the easiest to knock over.
If the war in Iraq would have gone according to (no)plan, rest assured we would have rolled over the border to the next easiest "Evil Empire", Iran. Had that one been successful, North Korea would be on radar next. Thank God we were stopped at Iraq. North Korea would not hesitate to use THE BOMB.

Because Bill Clinton didn't say so. North Korea has nukes and are a threat and must be treated accordingly.
"In the next century, the community of nations may see more and more the very kind of threat Iraq poses now -- a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction ready to use them or provide them to terrorists, drug traffickers or organized criminals who travel the world among us unnoticed.
If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow by the knowledge that they can act with impunity, even in the face of a clear message from the United Nations Security Council and clear evidence of a weapons of mass destruction program."

They will want to eventually. But North Korea having nukes is too scary for the US right now. It is so sad the US is fighting anyone. They don't need to. The Bush admin is responsible for 9/11. The whole Neo Con group. Please watch Terrorstorm or Loose Change. You can find them on Google Video.
