Gray Suit Jacket with black pants?

I found out at the last minute that I needed a suit for this function that I will be attending. I didn't have time to have a suit taylored so I needed to buy seperates. I bought a nice grey jacket, but I couldn't find matching pants in my size. I have a nice pair of black dress pants at home. Is it ok to wear a Grey Jacket, Shirt/Tie, and Black slacks or will I look stupid?

Yes ! it 's good to go. Allyou nee is a white oxford shirt.

You will be fine both colors would practically go with anything.
