I wouldn't stand for my husband going to strip clubs or going to Amsterdam twice a year. What is he doing there ? Why aren't you going with him ? You have to ask yourself these questions. Its great that you trust him but dont most people who get cheated on trust their spouse ? You have to watch your own back because nobody else will.

For the most part, strip clubs are just funny. I wouldn't read too much into it. My wife has the opinion that she doesn't where I work up my appetite as long as I eat dinner at home....

Really, though, many guys go to a strip club more for a social event. Men being manly and all that. Much like how guys will pool around a half-build carburetor or how women will coo over a new pair of Pradas.

Is he cheating on you? Maybe. Maybe not. But a few visits to a strip club don't mean a thing. If you're really adventurous, go along with him. I personally see it as a great way for marginally attractive women to take advantage of horny guys, but I'm also a colossal jerk.

And about Amsterdam, it's not all hookers and hash.

If everything else is good, let it go. Strip clubs are only for looking, touching is taboo. If you're 28 and he's about the same age, it's on his mind OFTEN. Whats a guy to do? He's communicating with you. Thats what makes the difference. The ones who lie about it are either cheating or don't respect you. Not much difference there. Be happy for your open relationship, and it's not uncommon for a girl to drop in a club, just to see what the deal is and maybe pick up a few moves. Just talk to a dancer and she'll be glad to fill you in.

I know guys who go to strip clubs all the time because of boredom. Us guys are totally visual and want to see something different because women come in different shapes and sizes. It really doesn't matter whether you're a superstar or not in the bedroom department, we want to mix it up a bit. It's harmless if it doesn't get out of hand. Strippers usually think that the guys are gross just for being there and probably wouldn't give him the time of day except to take his money for a lap dance.

Going to Amsterdam twice a year is a different deal entirely. Guys go to get a taste for the legal prostitution. I wouldn't want to speculate what married guys do there. I'm not saying that your husband would be unfaithful, but it would take a lot of will power to resist the blatant eroticism that emanates throughout the red light districts. Tell the kid to keep his hand out of the cookie jar when it's right in front of him and the lid's wide open...

I would also be a little upset and concerned. However, there's really nothing wrong with him going into a strip club with his friends. If it is a regular thing, that's unacceptable; if he's getting lap dances, that's unacceptable. You need to have a talk about what is bothering you, he has a right to know.

It depends what you can handle. I know women who have put up with their husbands having mistresses. Personally, In the same situation as you I would get a lover, start going to watch strippers - hell, get 3 lovers, and a whisky habit. Take out various subscriptions to porn sites and collect a library of downloads. Chuck all your twinsets out and replace them with BDSM gear - the more gothic the better. Get a bunch of piercings done. Leave dyke magazines out all over the house. In fact - the lesbian pose will sh*t him out more than anything. If you have kids, just get 1 lover and forget the rest, you won't have time, but make it a girl.

I would not worry about it.

The fact that he told you means that he has nothing to feel guilty about.

People need to satisfy their curiosity by experiencing new things when given the opportunity. Amsterdam is the world capital of sex. It would be hard to resist the temptation to have a look at what it is all about.

It seem that your husband was not overly impressed with it as he won't pay for it. His motto is probably "Been there...done that."
