Yes. A laser pushed light sail could reach another star in a human life time.

actually, I belive we are able to now.
But, it's way too expensive, and it's not practical.
As far as traveling from star system to star system, not in our lifetime. We can't even go from country to country without a fear of something, let alone leave the planet.

i think in about 50 years we would have landed a person on mars in 100 i think we would have sent a person to another solar system in 500 i think we will have visited another universe
