I can only assume you are referring to fuel Mileage. A lot of this depends on the motor in the van how you are driving it and what the load on the van is. More weight in the van will make the motor work harder and give you less MPG. The size of the motor will also give you a different MPG. If you are driving it at 75 MPH you will get a different MPG then if you where driving at 55 MPH. You never gave any more information other then Diesel van. Is it a Sprinter van? VW Van? Dodge Van? Ford Van? What size motor is in the van? I would guess your MPG would be anywhere from 18 MPG all the way up to 28 MPG.

Hello,

Heres the exact answer, a long wheel based transit van with a light weight load was driven from Leeds in west yorkshire to Glasgow and then the same route back to Leeds. The entire journey being completed in one day and the total distance was 355miles and this was completed on a full tank of disel, the cost was I think just short of £50 for the refilled tank upon arrival back in Leeds.

PS: Motorway speeds most of the trip!

Hope that's useful?

I suppose it would depend on the conditions and the terrain. My van has done 60 k + so far, and show signs of another 60 k at least. However, it might need a new cam belt at 80k.

I take care of my van, with a lot of love and attention. It serves me very well indeed. It is diesel, and I have no complaints when I drive it abroad a lot.

If you take care of it theres no reason it shouldnt pass 200k miles all of the diesel vans at my work are only a couple of years old and most are about the 100k mark and still going strong. I see plenty of much older vans on the road than ours so they must have lots of miles on them. It wouldnt surprise me if they go past 300k but most wouldv been scrapped by then as the bodywork would be a bit worse for wear

Depends on the van. I got a friend with a disel transit with 400,000 on the clock. Look after your van and it will return in kind.

Dpends how hard you drive it, the size of the engine and how it is maintained.
