In the philosophy of the terrorists, there can only be one leader of the muslim world, second place doesn't count, and the best way to be undisputed leader is to be the one who destroys Isreal or the USA. So whatever differences they may have, they have a common goal that unites them. i'm not sure it makes any difference as far as distracting them from attacking Isreal, clearly the more of them that kill each other will be the less left to go after Isreal.

The vicious cycle of hate and war will always be Arabs and Jews, afterall, they have done this for 2000 years, why should there be any chance of it ending anytime soon ?
