Be more willing to die than to kill and spread the word. What would happen if we had a war and no one came? Just refuse to fight (especially these religious, political and profit making wars)...one person at a time.
Sweden and Switzerland have not been involved in ANY wars in over a hundred years...not even WWI or WWII. No one invades their countries and they don't invade others. They refuse to be involved and people leave them alone...even Hitler and terrorists leave them alone...they must be doing something right and they still have a self governing, semi-democracy. I would rather live ini either one of those countries than in the U.S. They have better economy, less crime, better education and better health service and stronger currency and best of all...no war. Sweden has evolved...where has everyone else been? Why are we not studying their system and eminating them?
Research it and verify that I am correct!

Quite a twist from the usual war questions, how about some peace questions, a great idea. Perhaps it starts right here, with people talking about the insanity of war and trying to find a solution, one group at a time. Wars are fought; 1. Religion, The Crusades. 2. Economy, British Empire. 3. Power, Hitler. 4. Revenge, Iraq. Basic stuff, but what is the common thread? In none of these circumstances did the people have control over their own government, By The People, For The People. Why not outlaw war? It is merely murder sanctioned by government to make it acceptable, how do you enforce the ban? By bringing all the governments in the world to the peace process, governments that do not abide are shunned, economically sanctioned. To do this, you must have leaders that carry out the will of the people, but the people must have the will, we must require citizens to participate, if you don't want to vote, fine just pay the penalty, I'll bet the voter rolls skyrocket.

War can only be stopped if people agree that, we where all born different and will always be different. So the only solution is to have a world vote have every one on the planet vote for freedom or to be ruled and controlled (something like big brother but not as discrete) and who ever has the majority needs to agree to one way of doing things for example if freedom and free will wins the world vote everyone on the planet would have to agree on one god, but if being controlled by the government wins the vote then we have to agree which government do we conform to, and any one who violates or breaks the agreed upon new way of life would be killed immediately and that my friend is how you stop world wars.

I reccomend a little book called "Practicing peace in tiimes of war" by Pema Chodron. It won't tell you how to stop all wars, but it may help you find peace and compassion within yourself. If enough of us can do that there may, someday be an end to war. To those who say, "There must always be war. That's just the way it is." I say, it's true only to the extent that we choose to believe it is.

Stop War never you go to the inner city and they are killing each other off like flies. More Americans have died by the hand of fellow Americans and in car wrecks than over in Iraq.

There is no way that we can stop the wars. The only one who had the power to do that is God. If everyone would pray to God with his or her whole heart and soul, I think that God would help us find a solution to world peace.

Funny you should ask. There's a solution on the way right now. Lots of people know about it too. Problem is too many are playing clever like ... nothing is going on.

nothing-Wars have been fought for differnet reasons. Without the wars in the past-we would not be here today. You would not be living the life you have. Most of them have been for religious freedoms. Our FREEDOM! They are an intricate part of life that sad to say, we need them from time to time.

You can't. Many people try but in the end if the people with power wants war, war is going to happen. Peace and love didn't work in the 60s adn it won't work now.
