Honestly every person has worries It doesn’t matter if you’re a member of a Royal family or some poor common folk. Clearly William being Prince and in line to the throne doe have perks there is no question about it, but I doubt the entire thing is a fairytale. Always have to watch every single move you make or say in public. Knowing people scrutinize who you’ll end up with. Even not really be able to have many of your own choose though it seems William has had more then those before him.
Who knows if he would ever willing give it up you never know i dont think he will becuae he sees it as his responsiblity but Edward VIII did give it all up

On one hand he could always give up his royal life and live in anonimity somewhere, if that's possible. But I don't know if I would want to spend my entire life being in the spotlight, yeah it may be good for a few years, but I think I would need a break after a while. I think he did complain about the media and whatever when he was young, but can you imagine being followed around as a child by everybody, people taking your photo without asking you, intruding on your privacy and harrasing your mother wherever she went. Being royal has alot of ups but also some downs. He may have girlfriend troubles anyway, you don't know what they do behind closed doors. He may also get health worries in the future, but he will get the best doctors. I don't think we should have a royal family, but we pay like 50p a year to them don't we? If they did step down, they would still be extremely rich from everything they have accumalated in the hundreds of years tehy have been around. Anyway, who would turn all that down? If you are lucky enough to be in that position who would turn it down. Perhaps they should give a few million to charity. But think about it this way, he will have a job until the day he dies. I don't think he can retire when he's 65. Would you want that?

Of course he has worries, he's human. Just because he's born of privelege doesn't mean he's exempt from trials of life. And just because he doesn't face the same trials that I have in life does not mean he's any more or less than me. He may not worry about wealth or a girlfriend or a career...but what about having a positive effect on humanity? What about being more than just another Prince. Maybe his goal is to be thought of as more than just another "royal" and he really wants to make a difference in the world. Just because he doesn't worry about the same things you or I do doesn't mean he doesn't worry about things.

ok, so you don't want to hear a sob story. This isn't one.
but his mother died in an horrific car accident and the last vision of our world she saw was the flashing bulbs of cameras belonging to the paparazzi (who had, on a number of previous occasions caused her great distress).
Prince William has a girlfriend - and a not-unattractive one at that. He wouldn't be human if he wasn't worried about the responsibility of bringing a potential wife into the family where her daily life would be subject to the scrutiny of unscrupulous photographers - probably some of whom thought it more important to take photos of his mother dying than to offer her assistance.
These are human emotions and he is just as vulnerable as the rest of us. Money and privilege do not stop you from worrying about the loves in your lives.
We are all of us mere mortals, after all...

he would decline because it is his destiny to become king. He would decline because he would be letting his countrymen down if he considered not becoming king.
Yes, he's rich, he lives a life of privilege, but like any other young person, he has worries and woes. Not the least of which is thinking about the responsibility of the entirety of Great Britain and it's subjects.
There isn't any job more stressful than that in my opinion, whether you are voted in, or whether you are born to it.

I'm not a Royalist in any way but his mum dying when he was barely into his teens is, while not unique, certainly unusual and hard to deal with. As is the publicity glare of it ever since. I'm not a Diana fan but the media banging on about your mum can't be fun.
He also doesn't really have a lot of choice in his career. What if he doesn't want to be King? Sure, he could abdicate but he's aware of the hooha he would cause by doing that.
No he wouldn't give up his position but then I wouldn't really want to change places with him much either.

Being wealthy has its own set of worry. I would happily trade my being poor worries for them, but still...
He also has to worry about being a good king, a good person, his new military career, and I'm sure there are a million other things a person in that position has on his mind.

I'd see him having worries if the Royal family actually had any governmental type responsibility but basically it's just all a show. He has no real responsibility as a Prince.

I always heard people say that people like William have their own worries, but I doubt too many of us peasants would mind traditing places. Its so much easier to worry in a palace than in a cheap flat with no money and a lousy job.
