Many camping places have outhouses. Otherwise, walk away from the group (but don't get lost!) and lean on a tree and squat. Make sure your pants are pulled forward so you don't get them wet. Maybe you could go off with a friend and ask her to be a lookout, and you could be her lookout -- if you are worring about someone coming up close to you while you are going.

I'm a girl scout, and every girl scout camp ive been too has either outhouses or like a real bathroom, they even have showers too, so don't worry. Oh yeah a little tip, if this is your first time camping, i don't know if your going to be in a cabin or tent. Don't have any food or drink (except water) where you sleep, because remember your in the animals home and they do get hungry and you don't want to wake up with a fuzzy creature in your house!

Well since it is girl scouts you probably will have a bathroom around. If not you could simply squat and pee (and be sure to pack a roll or 2 of toilet paper so you can grab a little when you have to go) or you could find a rock, put a little toilet paper on the edge, sit on the toilet paper, and pee. Just make sure you get all the way as you can to the edge so you don't get you or your clothes wet. Have a little bag at the same spot where you pee to put the tp in.

I've been camping and otherwise stuck without a toilet, and squating seems to be the thing to do, but when I do I wait until the very last minute because it's just not comfortable for me.
With girlscouts, though, most places have porta potties or deep, narrow, PVC lined holes in the ground with a toilet on top *i used to know what they were called, now not so much* but those were in Hawaii. No worries, even if you still dunno what to do, the leaders will tell you.

When I went to girl scout camp, there was still a restroom facility... it's just in the woods... and it's very unlikely for people to allow little girls to be half naked in the woods... But in the event you end up camping in a creepy place, you have to take your pants off and squat...

Don't pee near the tent!! Even if it's by a bush in the middle of the night. You need to pee far away from the tents! Go in the outhouses and plug your nose. Sqaut don't sit on the toilets, too.

Usually there are out-houses. However, I once had to go in the bushes because we were in the middle of know-where. I kind of did gymnastics to keep the pee away from me and ended up with a sprained wrist. I was sitting using my feet and hands to hold me up and bent upwards. Kind of like a coffee table. It worked well until I couldn't hold myself and fell. LOL! Don't try it!

My wife and I camp with our two little girls (tent, not trailer) and we bought a portable chemical toilet for about $20. They are generally available at Wal-mart or Target and are fairly simple. Make sure you get the packet of blue chemical (if it is not included) to treat and kill the odor.

all the more reason i dont camp. i had an outdoorsy bf who loved camping but i would never go when he went that and theres no showers
