You can restrict network sharing or create user restrictions, however, the only way to insure privacy is by using a program like this one:

Yes........It will be a Yellow Folder
right-click it select Properties
here then, is admin-control over readability
who and what can be done with it after you (?)
you can also hide this folder
also the folder can have its appearance changed, change ICON (?)
READ-ONLY prevents amendment
if you restrict access to the folder
a password will be requested ONLY
if another 'registered-user' of your PC
attempts to open it...(?)
ie: if YOU are sole user A read-only file will automatically resist amendment whilst so-termed >Only the author of the folder or ADMINistrator can change this 'state' of the folder
If, you are sole-user > the 'Icon Change' may foil 'searches' within your PC under-hack (?)
If, you share your computer with others
the PROCESS
of setting a password for yourself
WILL
MAKE ALL YOUR STUFF
requiring of a password for access (?)
NO-ENTRY without it
> except in situations which include 3rd party visits to your keyboard where windows passwords may then be disabled/bypassed
shared workstations must be partly-suspect
for, even accidental-corruption
(you may email me for details)

say if you want to save with word, click save as, then at the top right corner of the save window, there should be a box saying 'tools'. left click, and choose security options from the menu that appears. here you can enter a password for opening the file and/or modifying the file.
click ok, then it will prompt you to enter your password again. click ok, then type in the desired filename and click save.
the next time you try and open/modify the file, it will ask for a password.
