You can do it!

Don't give up!

Keep plugging along and Tuesday will be here before you know it!

Set up a system where you can take breaks every few hours with friends, get a milkshake, exercise or something to get a release/escape.

YOU WILL BE GREAT!

It just takes a wake up call to change that. I was the same way all through HS. I am a HS Senior now, and am taking AP Calculus this year. I've never studied for a math test until this year, and have always gotten A's in my math classes. I had a D at the first quarter of the year. After that I started having study groups with my friends in that class, and have managed to pull off a B- for the semester. I think you just need to fail a couple mid-terms or something before you snap out of it. I'm stoked I took that class, because I feel that it has helped prepare me for college more than any other class I've ever taken.

You may need to give your brain a break or a change in functioning.

I'm guessing you are studying by reading over notes or something? Change the format. For example: Go through your notes and create Jeopardy-style questions to test yourself with. Create your own final exam. Even if you aren't going to remember the answers at this point--the fact that you are thinking of questions to be answered will help you study more than simply trying to remember everything.

*You need to motivate your self, in order to complete any unwanted/difficult and/or boring task. I know there are subjects that can be boring once you study it 24/7. Just relax, take frequent breaks, and get some fresh air. Try to do something that is calm, and fun during your breaks. I attend college and my final is next week. College mainly consists of tests, quizzes, and finals! It can be stressful yet, I try to take as many breaks as possible. I wish you luck!

Do you want to fail the class??? NO! So study, study, study!!!

Did that work? lol

Just break everything up. Pull out 1/3 of the material and study it today. Tomorrow study everything else. Sunday review everything.

Try to take breaks and reward yourself (maybe with a piece of candy lol).

Good luck!

If you don't make it through school you're gonna end up a mid-aged secretary/assistant for some old fat white dude making 35k a year and wishing you had studied for your final and stayed in school.

You can do it! Make lots of flash cards and highlight the important parts. My favourite way to get motivated is to watch legally blonde lol . Just goes to show you can do whatever you put your mind to.
