It really depends on how lofty your aspirations are. If you just want to go to a so-so school or community college, senior year hardly matters. If you want to go to a top-tier school, senior year will be the hardest with...
*College applications
*Scholarship applications
*Financial aid forms
*Extracurriculars
*Maintaining your GPA with a rigorous courseload
*Trying to enjoy senior perks and having school spirit at last

If you're not a slob or a bum, then yes, senior year is the hardest. In order to go anywhere in life, seniors need to take a full schedule of math, science, english, history, etc., they have to apply to colleges, apply for scholarships, keep their GPA up, keep up with their social life, do their homework, and keep up with any extracurricular things they have to do.

Mainly, the reason it's harder is because there's so much college prep going on.

Well I'm 24 now, but I agree with you on that one. The pressure is on for you to apply for college, scholarships, etc. beginning early in the fall, and this lasts all through the year. Also, the expectation is that you're a leader in your school because you're the 'oldest and wisest,' so teachers don't cut you any slack, even though they know it's common to have senioritis.

Junior year, in my opinion, was the best. Less pressure, yet you can drive and you're still older than most everyone else.

Junior year is traditionally considered the hardest year in high school - what makes senior year hard is that many students get a strong case of seniorites and begin to slack off and lose focus.

Good Luck!!!

Senior year is incredibly stressful, especially since you have to start getting ready for life after high school. Try not to let it stress you too badly, and don't forget to talk to your career counselor to make sure you are on track. Good luck!

No! Junior year is the hardest. I'm a junior and there is SO much stress, let alone the amount of homework is crazy!

Senior year is easy. They barely have to take classes and they already have everything done and planned.

Senior is WAY easier. The year is shorter by two months, you really have most of your required courses taken and can concentrate on graduation and finding a job. Make it the best year of your life.
