i recieve internet access via a desk top modem connected to my ethernet network card at present. Whether yhis is relevant i don't know???
Any help available is appreciated...Thanx \(o_o)/

A wired or wireless router should be all that you need. It will come with a short ethernet cable. Linksys WRT54G or WRT54GL should get you going.

Both of the PC's can be connected to the router.

You need 2 network adapters installed on the host computer to share an Internet connection.

Set one up as an Internet proxy server, or click share that feature, or purchase a Router/Switch combination box. I did the last one so both computers don't have to be on.

you need a wireless router and another pc with a wireless card once you have them load the disks that come with each and you are in business

You need to get a router. You can hardwire them or you can get wireless.
