Tell you Dad that you had some problems understanding what was being taught but you are going to concentrate on this subject and you next grade in science will be better. And do that. (Ask questions here if you have a problem).

Make a plan before you tell him. Find out if there are tutors available at your school or at a local rec center that can help you pull up your grade. Maybe another teacher that can help after class, or an online forum. Ask at the school office first because they'll probably have a list of resources or know where you can go to find them. Get some answers because you're going to have to tell him. Do it that way, and while he might be disappointed with the grade, he'll be impressed that you're trying to improve before it's final.

Thats exactly what i got.Tell him that you have been trying your hardest and that this is not final.He might punish you and be calm and tell him what you did wrong to get a c and how you will change over the quater/semester
