Not at all! My close friend thinks I'm Asian, or at least from some kind of Asian background. Till this day, she still doesn't believe me, and that was like 5 years ago! I actually come from many different backgrounds. Native American (Apache, Navajo, and Ute) Spanish, Mexican, Italian, Irish, Scottish, and a little German.

i haven't been told that i look British but i have been confused as an exchange student on several occasions, i think that it's because i tend to pick up accents quite quickly w/o noticing.

Hopefully you don't get as much crap from people for spelling British wrong as I did! Nope, I don't. It's funny how you can tell when people are British, you can see it in their eyes before they even open their mouths!
