Is this democracy or not?Or maybe it is but we(the people)didn`t get from the beginning what it really meant? So did our fights for democracy meant something or was it just one cause that people brought up to begin a war (which they love more than sex)

The world is not a very nice place now, donna.
Too much money, too much corruption, too many wars, too many people on television talking nonsense.
When you grow older, I hope the world is a much nicer place for you to live in.

I had that feeling too of regress, but since i don't know how it was in the past i may say now should be better.Anyway the more the interaction with the world the less the freedom. Is more free on orphan that lives in the mountin than the us president i may say.Anyway everyone can experience a sence of freedom if he thinks he is free or if noone really thinks he is free(egoism is distruction).World wont ever be the same.Democracy is just a step ahead of comunism and a step behind true freedom(which i think is not trully achived in today world).Anyway i say that world may seem beautiful if you like it from the begining. If you have the ilusion you can control or even change it you may feel happy if you discover your tinies and passivity and that you are totallu under it's controll you abbsolutely want be happy.

This world of ours is a complex machine that expands it's realms between the two extremes , but the consensus is unanimous that our world has a nasty hick-up , over population and the global warming dilemma , apart from that, each country has it's personal issues and growing pains , they encompass from the rich citizens to the extreme poor . So are the countries the rich ones to the poor ones ... and we continue the inevitable over population which many a poor countries will suffer first , and then us . And the global warming !!! ouch! I think we have no return , our economies are so interwoven to the necessities of our daily lives that any thing we try to do will be just to late to little , so I think we should start to adjust to living a much more difficult lives to deal with the changes to this world of ours .

the full international is broken yet united statesa. is marginally worse than the different "progressed" international places. you have super writers, artists and movie makers and a eye-catching organic panorama. you besides would have a disgraceful hollow between wealthy and poor. a good number of rural united statesa. and factors of your super cities resemble the third international. The extremes of your climate are insufferable as is the religious fundamentalism, severe unquestioning patriotism of a super type of of your electorate. You harm the ambience greater desirable than the different u . s . a .. Your public transport gadget such as your dreadful airlines are surprising too. Britain isn't a ways in the back of yet maintains to be greater civilised i will stay in a rural section and capture a prepare everywhere I choose to pass. I under no circumstances see weapons different than during the pheasant capturing season or whilst some ill previous fox must be killed. i will walk contained in the geographical area with out being spoke of as a tresspasser and the close by church has closed with the aid of loss of interest.

The world is ego...and that collective ego (humanity) is turning in on itself (ourself). Think of the ego as a tunnel, and that we need to pass through it in order to come out in the light (spirit) at the other side. Right now we are stuck in the tunnel and everything seems dark: the worst in us is coming to the surface of our consciousness, and rather than face it, and, maybe, find that light in us, we want to escape self-examination. It used to be that we could escape to the "new world", but today the world has shrunk, and there's nowhere to hide. Thus our own ego is caught up in a process of self-undoing, which must take place before the light of understanding can filter through and come upon us. So take heart, keep your faith strong, and behind all the suffering feel the living light of God coming closer, filling us with His Presence...as Such Is our innermost Being and Liberation.

We're going to hell in a hand basket & we're doing it more quickly than in the past. More wars, greater weapons, despoiling the environment, huge governmental deficits & the continuing loss of morality. Maybe I'll feel more optimistic once Bush is replaced; I think he made a bad situation way worse. I never felt this way before & I've been around 60 yrs.
