My nissan sentra is still brand new. Its under 3000 miles and already its making these weird noises. I brought my car back to the dealer because seriously ! this is a brand new car. I was told that the tech believes that the R.F strut Tower ASSY was making these WHIRRR noises on left turns. THe tech sprayed lube on the bearings, but i still continue to hear the WHIRR sound on left turns. I mean does anybody know whats the problem here ? I havent gotten into any accidents at all and recieved this car as a present for college from my parents. Its turning out to be a bigger problem then my finals right now and its just annoying. It would be really great if anybody could help me out here or if anybody had this type of experience with nissan. Also if this keeps up am i allowed to trade my car in or for an exchange ?

Take the car back to the dealer and have them check it again. That is what the warranty is for. Ask to have a tech ride with you so they can see exactly when and where the noise occurs. Your state's lemon laws spell out when you can ask the manufacturer to take the car back if they cannot fix it.

Keep track of your visits to dealer and get some type of receipt that you were there with the problem. They will jack you around till the warranty expires then they won;t know you. If you get no satisfaction ask the dealer for a contact at Nissan so you can ask for a factory service rep. to come see it. This baloney about spraying some magical tech. formula on it just don't cut it. You paid for a new car and that's what you should have, not some problem that they can't fix. After the warranty, remember, NEVER go to a dealer.
