Can anybody possibly tell me where I can find a child size Santa Claus outfit, must have a beard, for my 71/2 yr. old daughter? Oddly enough, this is #1 on her "Wish List" this year. Only God knows why! Anyhow, it seems simple enough to grant her this, so I thought!! I can't sew, don't even wanna try, and I'm a way far from rich, single mother. But I do believe in Christmas, and know that for children, it’s something magical!! So I know- somehow, someway, someone out there, can give me an idea, and help me out. It would be so appreciated!

There is a website, www.buycostumes.com that has fairly inexpensive santa suits for kids, though I think you have to buy beards separately. Costumes start at about $15 for the cheap ones, and go up to a few hundred, but a kids suit is available for less than $40. There are full suits, and "elf" type costumes, which are a little less expensive.

Good luck!

I seen this question and even though I have no Idea to where to get a child size costume i wanted to praise you for the good job your doing. I know it is hard to be a single mother. I have 3 babies and they are all girls. I know that it can be very difficult on you and them. God bless you and good luck. I think you might try the Internet but it may be to late. Call some costume stores and see if they have some by chance.
Merry Christmas to you and your children and have a very Happy New year. May your life be filled with great and wonderful things. Don't let her ever give up and stop wishing even if she doesn't receive this gift.
