what will happen to a shadow of an object if the distance between an opague object and the light source is INCREASED?

The solid angle of the blocked light decreases but the size of the shadow also depends on the angle between the light source and the plane the shadow is cast on. Therefore you must know the direction as well as the distance the light source is moved to answer the question.
