There is a shop in Tottenham Court Road called Peighton and Byrne. They do a lovely selection of teas, loose tea and your normal teabags, coffees, and the most amazing cakes you have ever seen ! They are near a very posh, lovely home furnishing shop called Heals.

How about Kensington? you got the King's road Chelsea. Great shops. Your on the Picadilly tube line straight to Covent Garden. The best pub is the Churchill Arms on Kensington Church Street.
My favorites is Daphne's Restaurant. 112 Draycott Ave, South Kensington, London.

There is a pub called Ten bells that was the original pub near the scenes of the areas that Jack the Ripper did his killings. It is in the White chapel area. Go for the Ripper tour while you are their too. You go down the actual streets where they found the bodies and it is narrated by a knowledgeable tour guide. Go to Ripper tour.com for details.
