I know it's true what they say, but how many would you say is alot?

I know many people with lots of shoes(myself included). I know people with about 100 pairs of shoes and would dare you to tell them that that is to many pairs of shoes. I would have to say that you have to many pairs of shoes when you are buying the same style shoe over and over and you don't know it, or just b/c it is in a different color.

One of my only girl friends has so many shoes she lost count ages ago. And it's not as if she keeps them for years. Once she stops loving them, she takes them to the charity shop "so they can be loved by someone else", she says.
Thankfully, we take the same size. My only two pairs of high-heeled shoes (one black, one a tan no-colour) are her discards.
They are just everywhere in her house. She keeps each pair in it's own zippered pouch (clear plastic) so that they don't get marked or crushed or separated. And she has them in every closet in her home. (Each closet holds separate colours.)
If I were to take a wild guess, I would say that she has close to 120 pair.
Me, I have the 2 pairs of shoes from her. Then 3 pairs of flats, and 4 pairs of runners, and 6 pairs of different types of boots. And I don't think I have too much.
Maybe somewhat more than 20 pairs?

there is no actual answer to that question. however, when you do not wear 1/4 of the shoes you actually own- then you have too many (whether that number is 10 shoes or 100 shoes)
i find that many people (such as my mother) buy shoes when they are sale but are not exactly her size- or do not fit properly.. if this is the case you feel you may have too many shoes then thats horrible.
anyway, as long as you wear all the shoes you own- then you dont have to many!!

you could never have too many shoes. i have about 115 pairs of shoes, and its not like i forget about these or those i know every single pair i have and compare em to the new ones im about to buy. look at my screen name. what can i say i love shoes

I've been told a woman doesn't need any more than 10 pairs of shoes but I say that as long as they're not overcrowding you and you can keep track of all the shoes you have that you can never have too much.

i have like 100 pairs of every thing from puma (for gym) to jimmy choos and even juicy shoes! and im only 13!!

I think over 8 is too many. I personally have 4 pairs.

If your shoe collection could collectively crush a man, or even a decent sized dog, I would say that would be too much.
