I kep trying to get my toshiba A100 to connect to my Netgear wireless router. the aol disc told me I didn't need AOL installed on it. it has an internal wireless thing, with the switch for it (on the bottom) turned on.
all I get is 'no networks can be found'. I've opened up the router options on the desktop (using firefox) and changed them to the same channels and things as the laptop options, but nothing seem to work at all.
Does someone know how to solve this problem? has anyone had this problem with an A100 or AOL?

aol told me it didn't need to install, and it installed the router onto the laptop (via etheral cable) but then refused to pick it up without it. the wireless network connections bit is empty 'no wirless networks within range' and I'm sat next to it. and the router is on.
