When I was 8 years old we were very poor. It had been a very bad winter and I wasn’t expecting anything for Christmas. Some how my mother scraped together money to buy me a candy cane about a foot tall and 2in. Around. Think about what kids today would say if they only got a candy cane for Christmas but I though it was a good gift for I had never had that much candy at one time. The next year it didn’t look any better. My dad had been laid-off at work and we were barely getting by. Then a man came one day and needed someone to help build a barn. Dad worked the two weeks before Christmas and made just enough to by me a new bicycle. To this day I don’t how that man knew to come to our house, I just thank God he did.

My best was a PS2 when it first came out I was jumpy and I was running around because I had wanted a PS1 for ages and so many chances to get one had past and so I threw the rest of my presants up in the air and just sat for hours starring at the back of the box drooling and excited.

My worst was a clipboard, 'NUFF SAID'

The best present I have ever gotten....a guitar, which I had wanted for ages.
The worst present I ever got.....Car tires...from my fiance, needless to say, he didn't put much thought into that one.

The best was from my wife. My wife hates opera and I am a huge fan.

Airline ticket and a ticket to the last gathering of the 3 Tenors. Something I will remember for the rest of my life and she got it for me even if she didn't understand what it meant to me
