It's GREAT I've been there about 6 times. Firstly, it's very safe and fun to hire a mini-moke and drive yourself all over the island. Don't miss Harrison's Cave, where you put on a hard hat and take a little train deep underground to see some fantastic caverns. Also it's nice to walk through Welchman Hall Gully, which is the closest you can get to a rain forest. Take a drive down the east coast to where the locals surf in the Atlantic breakers. Nightlife is banging round St Lawrence Gap on the South.( Oh gawd, I could go on and on. It's my fave place on earth! I am so jealous of you !) Don't miss ''Barbados, Barbados' - an evening dinner show about the colourful history of the island. Get bladdered on the Jolly Roger booze cruise! Have a go at jet-ski-ing or water ski-ing on the west coast! Go and climb up to the stone lion on Gun Hill (sorry everybody must be totally bored by now... zzzzzzz)

Mount Gay rum which is made on the island is wonderful. Check out the distillery tour. Try and go to a cricket match (whether you like cricket or not) what a carnival atmosphere and for the whole family, honest!
The Garrison Savannah is the local racehorse track and is another good afternoon .
All the food is excellent, even the so called fast food.
The submarine trip is great and I have been lucky enough to go both day and night.
Whatever you do be sure that there is something to suit everyone.
What a wonderful place - having been too many times to mention I can guarantee that you will have a holiday that you won't want to forget in a hurry.
Remember though that Bashians take their time so chill out cos life isn't hurried like it is here.

All of the above!!!
(Especially the Jolly Roger Booze Cruise!)
AND -
Go on the catamaran trip, a great day out and you get to swim with turtles.
Friday evening go to Oistins, eat, drink, dance...... and all in the open air. Great night not to be missed!!! (it's only on Fridays!).
Make sure you head into the capital, Bridgetown and have a wonder round, great shops, sites, food........
The local buses (small yellow ones) are great and even if you hire a car you must go on the bus at least once. Trust me!
Drink some local rum, eat some local food, relax on the beach and enjoy!
I am so jealous too!!!

I am ALSO jealous. It is the best holiday in the world.Do not miss the Fish Fry on friday nights in a town in the south called Oistins.IT ROCKS!Where the tourists and locals mix and dance the night away. Then there is the Boatyard in Bridgetown and Harbour Lights(both nightspots).Check out St Lawrence Gap for more nightspots.Go to Bathsheba for stunning scenery and crashing waves. There is the plantation houses, the Harrison caves, shopping in Bridgetown(tax free),water sports galore, boat trips, the tranquil waters of the west coast, tropical forests, the rum distillery and as it is a relatively small island it is easy to get around and very safe.Wait until you get one of the little buses....they squash loads of people in them(so funny).CAN I COME!!!!

If you do anything, you must swim with the turtles. It's cheap - that's assuming your hotel is on the west coast and an experience you'll never forget.
