He loves soccer and I had thought about making him a collage of himself playing but I'm tight on time for different reasons and I need a back-up plan. I would like something kind of homemade but I don't really know what. Any cheap but GOOD ideas I could buy or make would be very much apprieciated. Thanks sooo much!

Cookies would be nice, but I think you should give him something that will last for a while longer. What about a snowglobe...no not just a regular snowglobe but a homemade one... Do you have a photo or something that reminds the two of you of each other? If so then freeze it forever inside a snowglobe... you can use a regular household jar and whatever else you want to put in it. Here is a cool website on how to make one.... This is a very nice way to show him that you want to be with him forever.

And if that isn't an option for you, then yes, cookies or a nice poem with a picture of you attached to it, would be another wonderful idea.

I hope you're kidding about the money. If you are good because you've been going out for 9 months, thats $50 tops! If you're not kidding, you need to rethink this and DANG YOU'RE LOADED!! But if your really serious with this 5-6hundred budget then combine you're money gift and his and go on a trip to Florida or something over break. If you can't travel than buy a laptop or something like that. Or you could always get some basketball tickets, he'd love that. Whatever you choose though, if you really love eachother, then it shouldn't matter what gifts you give eachother, just the fact that you have eachother should be enough. Merry Christmas! o<: ]

Why dont you make him an ornament. Just go out and buy a regular ball ornament and write something from the heart and decorate it anyway you like. Or make him a card. and write something in it meaningful and something you feel he would really like. Or you could make him some of his favorite cookies. I really dont know. I wish you the best, and am sure you will find something really great. Good Luck! and Merry Christmas!

He's young he wouldn't understand that you put all that time and effort in a home made gift and you'd resent him for not understanding you. He might lie, but again you'd know. Gift certificate my dear to one of his favorite places. If he plays video games I see Ps2 and Xbox games for under $10 all the time. Or you can find something romantic like a dinner and a passionate Xmas kiss or something like that.

Make/decorate a picture frame, and frame a picture of the two of you together.
