i need alot of help on finding the RIGHT violin!?

Question

i have my own violin but i bought it from Ebay yeha lameeeee well its like all cheap and stuff you can barely tune it and the pegs just are so hard to turn and make it stay also the little round thingys that you use instead of the pegs. i want a new and more easy violin to use mines sucks HELP!!!!!!!! any musicians here??

The first thing I'm going to suggest is that you bring the instrument to a violin shop. It may be that some of your problems can be fixed relatively inexpensively. Bridge and soundpost placement make a dramatic difference. Stuck pegs are usually not tough to fix at all. "Peg dope" is very inexpensive and can easily lubricate those pegs. With regard to the fine tuners, make sure they are centered so that they are not too tight, which gives you no room to tighten them. If they are too far the other way they can be digging into the instrument's belly. That will make them hard to turn as well.
