I don't see why not, Evolution in no way conflicts with the concept of a supreme being. If you believe in a God, you could say that Evolution is one of God's tools I guess.

But I would also add that Evolution is not proof of the existence of a God either.

Sure, all you have to do is believe that evolution is how God creates life. In fact, many have and do believe that. The Deist religion believes God created the entire universe, all the matter/energy and the laws that govern it, but after that, God does not get directly involved. That allows our observation of the process of evolution to exist as God's natural mechanism to produce life. Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were Deists.

Yes , i do. i just think that people are being narrow minded when they take the verse 'God made man from dust/clay' literally. infact when we look at every holy book it can be seen that that the language used is a highly figurative and metaphoric one. If man was made from dust or clay, it was referring to the fact that clay played an intrinsic role in the evolution of organic matter, in fact it acted as a medium and a catalyst for several reactions to occur and such reactions gave rise to organic matter and this could be seen as the beginning of life. if 'man ' was mentionned instead of say, life its because we are at the very top of the evolutionary ladder, and the purpose of evolution itself was to give rise to humans.
I think that anyone believing in evolution cannot deny the existence of a supreme being because evolution is such a complex process that it could never have happend as a result of haphazard reactions, it was a guided process involving a Supreme intelligence.

Ya, that would be me, I believe in evolution, but I think that's how the lesser animals evoloved, prehistoric man was man after the fall, when he lost some of his senses, as seen in color blindness, and I do believe in God, because I feel Him in everything and, in early mornings, when everything is quiet and peaceful and its early morning, take a walk down the streets, and look at the vegetation and all the plants and trees around you, you'll feel like you're one, as if you belong to the whole picture, its' amazing, that is when I feel so completely powerful like I can do anything, coz He's watching over me.

The simplest thing, which has created a God / Nature on a planet the Earth,
is the atom of hydrogen.
The most complex thing, which has created a God / nature on a planet the Earth,
is the Man (ring of a Nature).
The man consists of atoms and he an alive essence.
The simplest atom is also alive object.
The atom of hydrogen lives 12 minutes.
The nature develops from simple to difficult;
the evolution of the world goes from the lowest condition to the highest one.
Therefore, on the our planet , is necessary to consider a chain of evolution
of Life from the simplest atom up to the Man.

No, it's a contradiction. Both can't exist at the same time. One must have come from the other. Evolution is something that you can prove by science. You can't prove that god does not exist, God or god's are a creation of man. If God exist then he is some weird entity. He lets us discover all the laws of nature but he constantly violates them. For him to exist all laws of natures would be wrong. Only in mans mind can a god exist. God does not need to obey any of Einsteins theory's. For God to exist special relativity is a limit set my man.

Yes, these ideas are not mutually exclusive. The idea of creation of life by God simply talks about the creation of life on Earth from no life. Evolution only describes how one organism adapts to its changing environment and becomes a new organism. The idea of evolution is simply a process, not the reason behind the process where creation talks about the reason behind the formation of life, not the process of creating life. Thus, these ideas are not mutually exclusive.
