Evolution is as true as gravity or electromagnetism. While there are many details of these theories are still under debate by experts in those fields, the basic tenets are all but proven fact. The modern hoorah against evolution, attempting to discredit it as a theory are unfounded attacks by people who believe the theory of evolution conflicts with their beliefs. The truth is that evolution is true, and people whose beliefs conflict with the truth need to re-evaluate their beliefs.

That is a very good question. Science never like's to say something is completely true cause that just breeds ignorance in defending something that may not be. But yes there is very and i mean very overwelming evidence that evolution was and is very real. Evolution is fueled by something that darwin called natural selection. Natural selection is basically when an organism or animal picks its mate by looking for the strongest and fittest animals. So that the weaker ones are eventually extinct. And the stronger ones of that species have survived through reproduction. There can also be an example of this found in diseases. There are certain molecules in disease that copy that disease and then transfer it to the next person. The point is the disease starts to shrink itself taking out all the unnessecary actions. And making it a stronger and faster disease. Its takes a genetic shortcut i guess you would say. And that is how they think humans evolved from apes. Human genetic codes actually are 95 percent that of apes. It is thought that all animals oringinally formed in the ocean. A few fossils have been found that date back to the time when fish started to walk. And that's exactly what the fossils are fish with legs. Some examples of these are the whale who have some unused musces that scientist think may be the remainder of what there legs used to be. Hence why they are mamals but live in the sea. Ive always found it a better explantion then a god. Some people find the need for a god to create something so beautiful. But never think that under the same ideaology there would have to be a god to create the god that is obviously way more mind boggling then the universe. Of course you need to remeber that evolution is just a theroy and that nothing can be taken as truth. But it can be taken as very propable. There are alot of books and tv specials dedicated to teaching evoulution. And disproving the god theroy. One that i highly recommend is the god delusion by richard dawkins. I hope you like my answer.

Evolution is a theory based upon very limited information and wild imaginations. Adaptation is a fact. Theories based upon fossil records are suspect. Fossils account for a very small amount of the information needed to make some of the statements which are taken as fact.
If evolution were fact, it would take several thousands of years of diligent documentation and research to verify and analyze the data. The fact that not all species of plant and animal life have been found is another place where there is a lack of information. The fact that the entire Earth has not been explored is another source of possible error. That is where evolution stands. It is an unproven theory.

The most simple design, which was created
by the God / Nature , is atom of hydrogen.
The most complex design, which was created
by the God / Nature , is the Man.
The Man is alive essence.
Animals, bird, fish are alive essences.
And an atom?
And atom is also alive design.
The atom of hydrogen lives 12 minutes.
And someone a long time ago has already said, that if
to give suffices time to atom of hydrogen, he will turn into Man.
Therefore, the one, who creates a general picture of Life,
must consider development of evolution of Life from atom up to the Man.
* * *
Once upon a time, in the beginning, there was one "single point " accidentally.
Then it has caught a cold accidentally and has blown up: Big Bang " has taken place.
It was the reason of accidental creation of some hundreds
(thousands) kinds of elementary particles and their girlfriends - antiparticles.
Then stars were formed accidentally.
Then the Planet the Earth was formed accidentally.
Then atom of hydrogen was accidentally formed.
Then complex atom was accidentally formed.
Then was accidentally formed vegetative and fauna.
Then the man was created accidentally.
And this man can accidentally think logically.
But of course, unfortunately, not always.

Evolution:1. any process of formation or growth; development: the evolution of a language; the evolution of the airplane.
2. a product of such development; something evolved: The exploration of space is the evolution of decades of research.
3. Biology. change in the gene pool of a population from generation to generation by such processes as mutation, natural selection, and genetic drift.
4. a process of gradual, peaceful, progressive change or development, as in social or economic structure or institutions.

As the definition shows yes evolution is true, it happens (strictly survival of the fittest is evolution), but it doesn't say anything about people necessarily developing from apes or any other kind of organism.

yes i think that evolution is true take frogs for example how they evolve over time and how they change shapes and think about it we don't know what size the first human was and maybe that we changed to. we also don't know how long the human in the old days can live up to so we might be living longer or shorter so in my case evolution is true

Science is about evidence, hypothesis and testing. Nothing is science can ever be proven to no degree of uncertainty. For many, that is (and should be) the standard of truth. This does not mean that "Scientific" Creationism is not untruth, since it is a collection of lies in support of the Bible. The proper, non-political doctrine of Creationism ("God created the universe.") is either true or isn't, but there is no way to know.

Yes, evolution happens. No, it is not proven to be the answer for the origin of species. It is called a theory because it has been proven that species evolve. The argument is not with that, it is with the more fundamental question of where we came from originally, which can not be proven one way or the other without doubt.

this is a tricky question. I'm from Malaysia. in a country like Malaysia, majority Muslims, schools, colleges, even in Universities, there is no such subject call Evolution. they believe in GOD.

but for me, i think if you wish to see the question scientificly, there is certain evidence that support evolution. but if you believe in God, there is no harm to believe in Adam and Eve. just have to make sure, when you teach science, believe in something that has the evedence and leave Adam and Eve in Bible. When it comes to religion, leave evolution to biology text book.

When animals reproduce they create a copy of themselves. We all learned long ago that every time you copy something, there is a degradation, although sometimes very slight. We don't see this change from one generation to the next as an 'evolutionary change' just enough to tell Bob Jr from Bob Sr, but over time and copy after copy the changes become significant, and then 'evolution'
