I read the books Eragon and Eldest, but i think the movie is not gonna be as good. It's like everyone wants to watch it, but nobody knows anything. I'm really annoyed considering im the oly one who read it in my school and i haveo explain everything. So ifeel if i see it im gonna be a wannabe and nobody will think i read the book because if i give themm 411 theyll say i watched the movie... should i watch it or not?

Since you read both of the books you should watch the movie. You will get a better idea of the pictures and events you didn't understand. I just watched it and i liked it! Some people hated it since they didnt read the book so it didnt make sense. Who cares what everyone thinks you watch that damn thing. You will regret it if you dont.

enjoy the book for the book. Enjoy the movie as a movie. They are different mediums and each have their strengths and weaknesses.
Besides, you cannot make intelligent comparisons unless you have done both.

Watch it, though it might not be as good as the book because Christopher Paolini didn't do the Screenplay or anything.

I thought the book was a howling BORE. My son made me read it to him, and I couldn't WAIT for it to end.
So, I'm expecting the film to be 100% better. It could hardly be worse.
