All of my periods used to come every 28-31 days. But 3 months ago, it didn't come until day 39. Me and my boyfriend thought I was pregnant, even though we use condoms and pull out every single time. The next month was normal...I got it on day 31. But this month, it is day 34 and there is still no period! We only had sex once last month...with a condom while pulling out (no tearing or slippage) and I feel like I am about to start any second. I have cramps, I feel bloated (my normal PMS symptoms) yet my period hasn't started. What gives? Is it normal for a cycle to be irregular like this for no reason at all?

Hormones can fluctuate at anytime during a womans life and affect your cycle. There could be any number of reasons though...I would schedule an apt with your Dr. to alleviate your worries...Good luck!

Hi,
It sounds to me like you're stressing about being pregnant. Stress can cause all kinds of weird things to happen to your body, including delaying or missing your period all together.
If you find that you're cramping more than normal, or your periods are heavier that would raise a red flag in my eyes, and I'd recommend you seek the professional opinion of your doctor.
Good Luck!

It could be a result of a higher stress level, a change in your daily habits, or a medical issue starting to manifest. See a doctor to be sure. Never play around with your reproductive health.

Stress, working out more than usual, etc. can all be contributing factors in regulating your cycle. If you are worried, you should consider the pill or some other bc to take away your stress.

dont panic at all ... stress , hard work , loss in weight , gain in weight , change of diet ... these are al period delays ... i got delayed for a week once and it came eventually ... take it easy relax ... drink lots of water ... cuz it might be a reason as well .
