Why don't you ask your doctor to put you on birth control pill? lt makes life so much easier and if you trust your partner, after a while you can stop using condoms. But at first the best thing to do is to use both the pill and condoms to make sure that he is not going to transmit any disease he may have. Better yet, both of you can go get tested so you can stop using condoms once you are on the birth control.

Start taking the pill or get a depo shot a month before the wedding (talk to your ob/gyn). If you don't feel comfortable with taking hormones (some women aren't) then try something like the Today Sponge or get fitted for a diaphram (again, talk to your ob/gyn - and if you use tampons, using one of those methods shouldn't be a problem).
Congrats on getting married and props for waiting until the big day!!!

use a diaphragm,, they are not as commonly used,, like they were in the 80s, but they are quite the effective hardware,, also if youre worried,, use both birth control and a sturdy condom,, not one of those ultra sheen or ultra thin,,, and if youre even more worried, have him put on 2 just for extra measure,, put some KY in the tip of the condom for a spermicidal, and use some KY lubricant on the out side of the condom and your vaginal walls ,, seeing its your first time,, you dont want it to be unbearable,,, this will help a lot

I take the Oral Contraceptive Pill (birth control pill, 99% effective)
But it takes about one pack (4 weeks) to kick in. If you're not on birth control and you don't have a month till your wedding night then i'd suggest a male condom. (98% effective)
Congratulations and good luck !!!

If you aren't on the pill already I think both of you should use something. He should use condoms and you can use foam or film with condom until you both can talk and decide together the best form of birth control.

You can bring a condom for him to use, these are easier to work with and more successful (not as easy to make a mistake with). Be romantic when you go to put it on, there are many sexy ways to do this. You can use your hands, or your mouth. Just have fun with it, I know it'll be nervewracking if it is your first time, but he won't care about any fumbles etc., he's just going to be excited to share this wonderful thing with you. Have fun and congrats on getting married!!!

I am a lesbian so I don't have to worry about that...YAY!!!!! There was a few years however that I "tried" being straight so I would use birth control pills for pregnancy and condoms as a backup and of course for STD's....

Evidence would suggest that most girls use "luck".......
You need to see an OB/GYN , or your family doctor, and discuss options.....there are many... A condom is neither convenient, nor particularly romantic.
