Why do people wear pantyhose besides the fact to be sexy?

well i was wondering why do woman wear them besides to feel sexy. also besides the sexy part why do woman wear the patterned ones. Like with the flowers printed on. Also with the patterns on them

Depends on the woman, her job, location, etc!

Many women do not have a choice sometimes in if they are wearing hosiery. It sometimes is required by a job or school. Then, sometimes if you are forced to wear something, you might try and dress it up a little, or make it fun, thus the printed hose.

Sometimes it is good to keep your legs warm (more so tights than hose though).

Also, they are good to shape your legs a little, cover any misses in shaving, and some even massage your legs a little as you walk.

First off, some do not find pantyhose sexy at all, but some do find stockings sexy. To each his own, I personally like stockins. On to your question, It depends on what woman you ask. Many will say that hosiery completes any outfit, others say its to hide imperfections with their legs, be it blotchy skintone, scars, cellulite, etc. Like I said, the reason are many, and differ greatly, just ask a few different ladies, and see the answers you get.

They probably wear the patterned ones because they think they're pretty. Wearing pantyhouse is generally considered to be more formal than just having bare skin. Also, if it's cold outside, pantyhouse keeps your legs a little warmer than they would be if they were bare. Women who have very fair skin will wear pantyhouse to make their legs look less pale. And sometimes women will wear pantyhouse to cover up the fact that they haven't shaved their legs in a while.

I think it hides "imperfections" in a woman's leg. They are also more convienient to wear than stockings (because they require a garter belt).

I think the patterns are strictly a fashion statement...nothing else.

Pantihose replace the old-fasioned nylon stockings wich use to require garter belts or a corset to keep in place. It's a matter of convenience over the former options. But most of us forgot about that.

I wear pantyhose when I wear a dress because my legs are white. I wear a nude color or a tan color so my legs don't glow in the dark. :) I don't wear the patterned ones. I am a plane jane.

if you like wearing skirts, like I do, then it keeps your legs warm during the winter, actually i hate nylons but you need them to like keep you warm if you want to wear a skirt.. in fact I think nylons make you look less sexy than wearing no nylons..
