you need to be very flexible and you need to use muscles so why isnt it a sport

Gymnastics is considered a sport. It is part of the Summer Olympics. There are high school teams and competitions. There are college teams and competitions. There are international competitions. In winter, when football season is over, TV will cover gymnastics competitions.
I think watching is boring. Trying to do it, however, is almost impossible.

Gymnastics IS a SPORT! Who told you it wasn't! Im gonna scream! I'm a gymnast its hard but fun so yeah its a sport all right! You can compete against other people(which is what i'm doing today at 4:30 actually) and you can win medals and trophies and scholarships for college. ITS A SPORT!
