I was told... we would get our first paycheck the Saturday one week after our first day on the job. I started this past Tuesday, so will I get paid this Saturday or next!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

Most likely next Saturday. You could always ask your boss to be sure.

Usually, when you start mid-week like that, it would indicate you'll get your pay the following week. I guess it also depends on the company. Where i work, i get paid for each week i work at the end of the week. There was no check held back.
