Ugg boots, or simply uggs, is a generic term for a type of sheepskin boot which has been made in Australia and New Zealand for nearly 200 years. They were originally called ug boots or ugh boots, which is short for "ugly"[1], and sometimes referred to as "fuggs" or "fugly." Due to trademark issues (see below), uggs are often known in the retail world by the more generic term sheepskin boots. Other popular brands of sheepskin boots are Warmbat, Emu, Uggs-N-Rugs and Aussie Dogs.

Uggs are genuine sheepskin boots which came into fashion in about 2003 and recently made a resurgence. They keep your feet really warm without being sweaty, so that's probably why your sister wants them. No, they're not particularly stylish, but people buy them because of how COMFORTABLE they are (me included). Zappos.com has every style of Uggs probably ever let out, plus they have free shipping both ways--so you can send it back if the size doesn't fit.
I'd suggest these Uggs

They're $193. If you're looking for something cheaper, Uggs also make loafers which have sheepskin inside

Those sell for about $95

You can buy Uggs at Lord and Taylor, Nordstrom, other small shoe stores and online. Macy's(hecht's) does not carry Uggs. There are many colors and they came in tall or short so make sure you ask your sister which she wants. Also they don't come in half sizes so if she is a half then get her the smaller size because they run big. Hope this helps.

You can buy them at Nordstrom, they can range from about 60 dollars to almost 1000 dollars. They're boots and shoes. On the heel it says UGG Australia.

uggs r b-e-a-utiful lol, hmm, nicely... in case you have greater gentle wash denims pass with chestnut in case you have gentle wash skirts and darkish wash denims pass with choco brown the two one is quite wonderful although (good alternatives) in case you get one over the different and discover it isnt as wonderful, return them for the different shade. or maybe, you could save money (or positioned an "UGG" fund collectively and save money to get the two!) i be responsive to, corny, yet I heavily did an "UGG" fund, I only stored putting like 10 or 20 income a jar and intensely straight away i've got been given new wonderful uggs!

they're boots and shoes. if she didn't ask for a specific style, she probably means boots. Google "Ugg" and you'll find a ton of places selling them, but a lot of colors/sizes will probably be out of stock so close to the holidays.

They're a company for shoes. They are most known for boots and that's what your sister is talking about. They are really comfy but really expensive too. They range from 120-200 dollars. Happy holidays!

I just saw some at Marshall's on their clearance rack for $100, Medina, Ohio. My Dad in California says that Cosco has them for around $30, Knock-offs.
