If you do sample the Edinburgh nightlife, famous for it's wide variety of pubs and clubs, by all means find the rare chain pub among them. That said, the three sissies do have a nice hotel behind them, and a great big concrete garden with seats to space out on after bingeing at the Grassmarket. Cannot recommend it as an actual pub though. Citrus club is my favourite.

A rowdy, packed, boozy place. Mostly filled with students and blokes looking for the chase.

A cattle market.
