Okay, don't panic. It can be dried out simply by removing the battery and the SIM card (if there is one). Open the phone up (if it is a flip phone) and let it dry out. Adding heat to an electrical device may cause more harm than good. I've accidentally washed my phone twice and both times, I simply removed the batter and SIM card and let it dry overnight. But beware that the water might also have shorted out the battery, as this happened the second time I washed my phone. I still have my phone and it still works by the way.

By not acting fast you may have lost the phone . First remove the battery set the phone in the upright position to let it drain to base . You may use a hair dryer on the phone to remove moisture. Get good insurance for the next phone this one will cost you upwards of 200 dollars or more for replacement otherwise. the low cost you paid on the current phone is not to be expected on an early replacement one.

Maybe try to take the batter out and leave the cover to the battery open incase any water got in there, and let it just dry out for a day or two and hope it works, or try doing the same but wiping it off with a washcloth also incase theres any water still it in, or maybe hair dryer but that might hurt it so I dunno about that

initially, if this ever occurs back, right this moment get it out of the water and get rid of the battery and don't placed it back till the telephone is dry. in case you run modern by way of the telephone after it relatively is moist, you're extra in all probability to fry the telephone. i know it is not ordinary to withstand the temptation to work out in the adventure that your telephone will capacity on after its gotten moist, yet its terrific to tutor it on in simple terms after its dry. With that being suggested, take the telephone aside as much as plausible, meaning take the battery out of the telephone, get rid of the back door (if perfect) and dry the telephone off with a towel. Then placed each and all of the climate in a zipper-acceptable bag with dry rice in it. The dry rice will help pull the moisture out of the telephone. go away it in the bag a pair of days. Reassemble the telephone and attempt to capacity it on. I hate to assert it, yet maximum in all probability your telephone won't function marvelous, yet with a bit of luck you will have the means to get it to capacity up so which you will get the telephone numbers out. I even have been fixing cellular telephones for an prolonged time and customarily whilst they initiate continuously vibrating and don't capacity on each and each of ways (won't circulate to the main reveal screen) they are goners. in case you have a physically powerful 0.33-social gathering broking that has a tech on team and notice in the event that they are going to sparkling the telephone out. company shops oftentimes won't try this for you by using criminal duty, yet 0.33 social gathering sellers don't have the comparable strict rules to stay with.

i worked at Tmobile and we would always tell our customers to put the phone in a bag of rice..the rice will absorb the moisture and your phone should turn on when its all dry normally after about four to five hours.. good luck!
