No, I don't think Santa Clause could be a vegetarian. First of all, what's gonna grow in the North Pole? Also, no one would want to attempt to deliver anything, including food, to the North Pole. Therefore, it can be concluded that Santa, the misses, the elves and the reindeer all survive on fish, polar bear, and whatever they can manage to grow. Maybe Santa had the elves create a huge indoor farm, or something. Don't forget, Santa probably gorges on Christmas Eve on all those cookies.
As for eating his own reindeer, I believe Santa would be a little averse to eating the animals who work for him. Maybe that's just me. But seriously, even if he did, who's would want to sell him reindeer if he keeps eating them. However, I wouldn't be too surprised if he did eat Rudolph. Seriously, that reindeer was getting way too much publicity; I can't see Santa enjoying being shoved from center stage.

No Santa didn't eat Rudolph... I just saw them on E! True Hollywod Stories together. Santa admitted to having a compulsive eating disorder (ends up he really hates cookies and milk and will only eat candy canes and egg nog). Rudolph also admitted to having a coke problem (that's the real reason his nose is so red and bright)!!! lol

It's not just him it's the Christmas spirit people in including me believes in. He eats milk and cookies. If you are spending your time thinking about things like that then you have no life. Maybe Santa needs to bring you some milk and cookies. Maybe even some Christmas spirit while he's at it. Oh and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Judging from his rotund size, I would imagine he eats anything he can get his hands on, reindeer, elves, we haven't seen Mrs. Clause around for a while, Hmmm!

Same reason people believe in God, they like to maintain ancient sick fabricated dogmas because of their fear that if they break traditional bounds they will somehow be punished and advancement leads to degradation, which is in itself promoted conservative propaganda. The same reason why Americans, "Reborn White Avangelical Christians" seem to love republicans even though its going to result in a militarism which will results in deaths, and useless capital wars for no other reason than hatred of human unity. The same reasons why democracy is a false message propagated within the Us proletariat structure that they somehow determine and control government, which is such a pathetic notion considering their is only two parties in power in the US and both have a bipartisian likeness in key issues of great importance in healthcare, wars, wages and other important issues which are cunningly evaded during elections.
