Im going to be 18 weeks on Monday. Around what week can the doctor tell you if your having a boy or a girl. Im die to know.

I just had an ultrasound Wednesday at 18 1/2 weeks, but I have one stubborn baby on my hands. No matter what we did the little booger wouldn't show its self. Guess it will have to be a surprise.
Normally your obgyn schedules a ultrasound at 20 weeks, some times early due to limited openings for ultrasounds. If you don't find out what it is, there maybe be other chances to find out. Good luck.

Usually any time after 16 weeks baby is large enough and developed enough to tell. You should have an ultrasound sometime within the next 4-6 weeks and you should be able to find out as long as baby cooperates! Good Luck!!

My mom told me what I was having before I went to the doctor every time and hasn't been wrong yet. You need a sharpened pencil with a eraser, a needle that has the eay in it, and string. Put the string in the pin and stick it in the pencil. Have someone with a steady hand hold it about 2in over the palm of your hand wthout moving it. If it moves side to side or up and down it will be a boy. If it moves in a circle it will be a girl. If it work for you email me and let me know. It always has for me.

They like to wait until about the 20th week. They do that to make sure. They can tell at about 15-16 week.

They can tell by 14 weeks....however if ur baby is anything like mine was.....it could depend....he was very very uncooperative....hid everytime even with pushing from the nurses till my 30th week!!
