I know a divorcee drug addict may not be the brightest bulb in the socket,but,for example:

If a liberal said nonsense like this, I'd call him or her a hateful person and refer to it as hate speech, too. I'm sure some do - I just haven't heard their shows.

Rush is such a moron. He should be stranded on an island with all the oxycontin he could ever take, so that no one has to listen to his crap anymore. He really gives conservatives a bad name.
If you want to read something funny (assuming you dislike Rush) try "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot" by Al Franken.
Polaris - I think anyone who takes uneducated potshots should be avoided. Liberal or conservative.

Nope...but it's Rush Limbaugh. You expected wisdom? Insight? Intelligence? The controversy has nothing to do with giving to the Red Cross. It's about politicizing human misery to boost his rep among right wing extremists.

I'm no fan of RL myself, but he can say what he wants. I don't know if I'd call it typical reactionary crap, in that he's at least original, thought provoking,and has struck a chord with many Americans. I honestly detest the likes of Mike Savage( he's a cheap goon)- but what does bother me about Limbaugh, Savage, and their ilk on both sides is that the debate in this society is no longer civil- it's who can shout the loudest, and get the most air time...

For the last 6 years, liberal Democrats have called Bush everything from a chimp to Hitler. Republicans have been demonized by their opponents on everything from health care to Social Security.The vitriol that has come from the left is the most hateful, spiteful nonsense I've heard since I've been following politics. And you get in a dither because of the comments of one man. If you have not criticized your own party for the venomous spew spilling out of their mouths, then that makes you a hypocrite of the highest order!
