Yes, I do.
It is deserved for those people who do unspeakable crimes to humanity.
How can you say it is a justice to let him off by sentencing 14 years or some years if person intentionally kills another person repeatedly.
In fact I agree with people who fight to bring it back in all those countries where it is banned.
As suggested by others if the right thing to do is to forgive, then why did the whole world fought against Hitler. He also killed people intentionally. Then why did not the whole world forgive him.
You can forgive a person who is repentant of his deeds, but you should give punishment to an intentional killer.

Capital punishment is a double standard. Why do the government get to decide who to kill?

Yes, I do. Reason being, the rate of recidivism for crime speaks for itself. Criminals cannot be rehabilitated. Once and offender, most commonly always an offender. You can't sure these people, even though we have tried and tried. We have tried jail, education, and all sorts of support programs. The rate of recidivism doesn't go down significantly.
You know, what you do with a rabid dog? That is how you have to see repeat offenders. They are sick. And need to be put down.

No.
For one thing, what do you do in those, (many), cases where it turns out to have been a micarriage of justice and the person was innocent?
And for another - either killing is wrong or it isn't! If it's wrong, then it's wrong for the executioner as well. He too is taking a life.

Yes...but ONLY IF done fairly, which it is not done fairly in the United States. It unfairly discriminates against minorities. It needs to be temporarily stopped so it can be reformed. It is also too expensive, and there's the chance of executing an innocent person. I'm pretty skeptical about the death penalty. I still believe in it, BUT I think there are too many things wrong with it.

No. We are all only human, and as such we are always going to make mistakes, so if someone's sentence is overturned at least you can let them out of prison. If you've executed someone who has been wrongfully convicted what can you do? You can't bring them back to life again.
