Before Idol - she was a sweet lil Texas thang.
But now --- She's a snob.

Yes. Big time. I think she knew from the start of Idol that she has an amazing voice. Now, that is a gimme, she has amazing voice talent...HOWEVER, that does not mean that she needs to be a snob and stuck up...as she has demonstrated she is.
I think she feels her stardom is well deserved and that she has every right to be full of herself. What she doesn't realize is that she needs to appease her fans and be likable as well as have a good voice to make millions.
She was on the Jamie and Danny morning show way back when she just won Idol and even then, before all the money, she was rude and ungracious. It was got so bad (because she refused to answer questions about her personal life-which you need to do if you want to be a star) that Jamie even said she hasn't deserved to act like that yet and that she's a b***h.

My boyfriend went to highschool with her. I remember when she first won American Idol he told me no one liked her in high school cause she was a biotch.
But he told me she frequently comes in to his work and leaves $100 tips so now he thinks she has gotten nicer.
Who knows?

i think most of us if given money and fame would be stuck up snobs as well- so i would not throw stones
