I had 14 baby hamsters and you need to remove the father. The baby hamsters need their mother and you should leave them alone until they have all of their hair (the mother could eat them if you touch the babies). Once the baby hamsters were old enough, I made the unfortunate mistake of bringing all of the them to a pet store to sell even though I was going to keep one. Upon return, I put the baby hamster back with its mother and the mother attacked it. Learning lesson ... hamsters have a very small brain and within 2 hours do not know that they have babies.
Aren't they cute when they get hair?

The male should be kept in a seperate cage and keep that cage away from the mother. Hamsters are mammals and so the babys will need to breast feed off the mother. DO NOT STRESS THE MOTHER! Give her privacy, food, and water. Leave her alone! If she feels stress or gets hungry, she will kill the babys. This happened to me. Just being in a cage is uncomfortable enough. Do not handle her and especially do not handle the babys.

The mother should always be put in a separate cage once you believe she is pregnant. If she thinks the babies are not safe, she WILL eat them. It is just her natural instinct.
Once she gives birth, put her away from noises and lights and lots of action, or she will believe her litter is not safe. Do not bother her much, except to make sure she has food, for the first week of the babies lives.

Just with the mother, the father might eat them. Make sure the mother has enough food, or she may eat them too.

leave the mom to do the work. watch the male, some will eat them while others will help care for them. if you see signs of him hurting the, remove the male. when you clean the cage, clean around the nest until the eyes open. most mom's will eat the young if they are touched. make sure the adults have plenty of food & water & enjoy your new little freands. :)

DO NOT TOUCH THE BABIES!!!
If they are syrian (teddy bear) leave them with the mother. If they are dwarf, leave them with both parents.

i think you may want to take the father out. he may eat them. do not handle the babies because then their own mother may eat them. you may need another enclosure for the growing family . . .

u don't have to bother them until they get alittle bit older, then you can feed em, but other than that, for now, they like being near their mother drinking milk.
