I had my I.U.D. (it was in for 9 months) removed November 15th. I had sex a day or so right after it was removed, and I spotted shortly after. Keep in mind I spotted when the I.U.D was in and never had a regular period while the I.U.D. was in as well. I have not had a regular period and it is now December15th. I have very sore breats, sensitive nipples, moody, I just feel really weird in general...my boobs really hurt...the smallest noise irritates me..that is part of my moodiness. I have not taken a pg test becuase I think it is too soon. Waht does this sound like to you?

It sounds like either your pregnant, or you're about to have a period. Go ahead and take the pg test, what have you got to lose?

It could be your body readjusting to the lack of hormones it's used to getting from the IUD. I was just taken off the patch and I was the same way. Doc's usually say it can take up to 3 mos before you're body's ready to conceive. I, on the other hand, didn't take birth control for 2 wks and ended up pregnant. If you're really that concerned, just buy a test and take it. At least that way, it'll ease your mind whether you're pregnant or not.

I had my IUD taken out Nov. 7th and found out I was pregnant Dec.7th. If you had sex around the time you had it taken out and was ovulating then yes there is a chance. You should be able to get a positive test reading now. So take a test. I took a test 5 days before my missed period and it was+. My last period was Nov. 13th. and by the 7th I knew. TAKE A TEST!

It sounds to me like a) you really WANT to be pregnant and
b) you really need to take a home pregnancy test.

To determine whether you are pregnant, I suggest using
First Response brand hpt, which is one of the most sensitive on the market. Use first morning urine. Buy a box of two and if it is negative, wait 7 days and take the other one, if your period still hasn't come. Good luck!
