When I was growing up it was a player for Blackburn Rovers called Glen Keeley (Who? I hear you say!!), he was a hard as nails centre half and he was the old type who give as well as take the rough treatment.
He played for us in the 1980s and I met him about 7 years ago, unfortunately I lost the power of speech and just stood their like a dumbstruck idiot, only able to giggle like a teenage girl!!!!

Different people for different reasons I think. People like Mother Teresa, but they feel too amazing to aspire to. So probably people who use their fame for good like Thom Yorke and Bono. Also certain female actors/stars for staying true to themselves and standing against pressure on women to just look good. Pink springs to mind

I really like Kelly Clarkson. After she won American Idol, she didn't let the fame go to her head and she produces clean, good music.

Honestly, why would you want a dead girl as your idol ? One who abused drugs, killed herself, and allowed people to abuse her!!
Sounds to me, you don't know the real story, of Norma Jeane..
