Probably not!! but i think the black smoke is really some strange deadly swarm of insects (mosquito's)...

I heard that the producers are planning to do at least 8 series. But whether they will be able to keep it interesting for 8 series, with 20-24 episodes in each one I just don't know

as far as i know, they have a plan for it to end in like five or six seasons. as long as it's still good, i hope it never does.
