Ok, im 5'10 155 pounds and I am a basketball player so im pretty solid. I have a problem area though, my stomach. Its pretty flat for the most part, but its a little flabby. How can I get rid of the extra fat and tone it up enough so you can see definition in my stomach????

the best and easiest thing to do (per my experience) is simple crunches or sit-ups. Any excercise that puts resistance in your problem area will eventually work but you have to do it every day. I had the same problem, toned everywhere except my belly, and it took me 3 months of doing about 50 crunches 5 times a week and I finally started to see the flab drop off my belly and I am now able to see the beginnings of a 6 pack.
Good luck buddy, it aint gonna be easy, and imo, it hurt alot. I had such cramps, but it was well worth it. I have awesome definition now (4 1/2 months later).
Happy Holidays!

I swim so my abbs are pretty solid... every day before practice and after pratice at night before I go to bed, I do this workout:
20X crunchers-sit ups with your knees in the air at a 90 degre angle
20X alternating crunchers- same but touch your left elbow to your right knee, etc.
30X crunchers
30X alternating crunchers
Take about a 10 second rest between each of these, and be sure to always touch past your knees. Take your time while doing them. Drink lots of water.

Then, After a stretching break, I do

leg lifs for a minute
leg lifts with free kick for a min
leg lifts w/ fly kick for a min.
leg lifts w/ criss cross legs for a min.
-That is very hard to do, so ease into it; start out doing them for 15 seconds each, then next week do 30 sec. each, etc.

Always stretch when you do these, and take breaks when needed. But when it hurts really bad, that's when it's most important to keep holding.

The more you do these the eaiser you get, I do this no problem now, and I do leg lifts w/out my hands under my butt, which is the man way to do it. It will seem like a lot at first, but after a while of doing this you'll get great abbs- I have a six pack!

Always drink water and stretch, and good luck!

How about trying some excercises for your abdominal muscles like crunches or sit ups? You need to work your abs to get toned in the stomach area.
