I read an article that said if you can stay alive for another twenty years you may be able to live forever. They claimed technology was getting to the point where we may be able to regrow tissue. If so, every couple of years, you could go in to a doctor and regrow your skin, organs, etc. Making it possible to live forever. I'm not sure I would want to live forever. I don't know if the brain could handle it. What do you think?

I want to. And I can.

Just not in this body.

John 6:50-52
51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?"

no.... i wouldn't like to live forever... this would mean i should skip a part of my life, maturity, being an old person, even death. i think death is an important phase in our life, although it is the end of it... that's actually the point. i don't know... people always try to change the way that things should be and that's not right... why can't we just accept that we have to die....? (i am afraid of death, but i try to accept it somehow). this is the meaning of being human... getting born, living and dying. there are some mysteries in this world that have to remain hidden.... people don't have to know everything... so let us just live, without searching so much for answers that we won't find anyway....

What point is there in trying to live forever if the planet we live on may in a few decades become uninhabitable through the process of global warming and climate change.

Perhaps they are going to reprogram humans into robots or something. I would not like to live forever under these conditions. I only want to live for ever in eternity with God.

No. The thought of living for eternity would be enough to make me top myself.

I wouldn't want to. Death is as natural a part of life as birth is.

Assuming the birthrate doesn't slow down, and to have the deathrate practically nonexistant, can you say OVERPOPULATION?
