The pressure on your pubic bone is caused by hardening of the uterine lining, which is preping for the growth of a fetus. Since menstruation flushes the uterus of this lining, it doesn't harden under normal conditions, but pregnancy causes it to change to allow for an amniotic sac to develop within the womb for baby to float around in until labor.
What you have is perfectly normal and nothing to be alarmed about. Congratulations on becoming a mommy.

That sounds very odd to me. If you're only a couple weeks pregnant there should be no pressure from a growing fetus. I've given birth to 3 children, and have never felt that. Go talk with your O.B. Gyn and get to the real root of the promblem. Although at 2 months pregnant, I felt tenderness in my stomach-not pain. It could be the hormonal changes, and so much going on with your body at the early stages of pregnancy.

I did an analogous element. My toddler boy had flipped head down and replaced into making greater stress than prevalent. that's appropriate to the time for yours to teach head right down to boot, if it hasnt achieved so already. this can be the adaptation. Pelvic stress is prevalent, as long as its no longer incredibly painful. i'm now experiencing alot of discomfort, and would probable have SPD. Doesnt sound like that's what is going on with u, yet shop an eye fixed on it. severe and consistant discomfort is a trademark to have something appeared at. If u initiate having this, then definately verify with your physician. so a ways as what ur experiencing, its prevalent aches and pains. Your physique is prepping itself for that kit to reach. good luck and Congrats~~~ :)

I felt that same pressure when I had my 2nd baby. It's really nothing to worry about. I think it's just a case of your body adjusting to pregnancy and making room for the baby to grow. If you're truly concerned (if it causes you pain), contact your OB/GYN just to be safe!

Yes, I agree - always go to yoru OB with these questions - but it's probably just your uterus growing - and eveything moving out of the way - my bones, my whole body ached at different times...it's pretty normal - but always go back to your OB...s/he is your life-line right now. Wishing you a great pregnancy!

Mention it to your OB. It could be a blocked gland, or something else.
