I'm pretty sure you could. There would have to be some type of loss on your part - physical, emotional, mental, financial etc. loss. But that could be complicated.
And if you did, she would probably just give you more emotional abuse because of it.
My view on conflicts is to always try to put yourself in the other person's shoes. Try to see why they might be acting that way, and it can help you react to them better.
I must admit though - my mother was the toughest person to do this with! But once I did, we got along much, much better. I realized that her childhood problems were affecting our family. Her parents - especially dad was terrible - and even though she tried very hard, sometimes the way she was brought up came through with the way she reacted with our fam.
A bit more than you might have asked for, but that's just some extra for ya :o)
GOOD LUCK!

That is the job of Parents......when you become a parent you will see. In this life you will be abused by many people......You just need to get thick skin. Try not to take it so Personal......easier said then done.....My dad physically abused me and that is just as bad. Good luck.
Emotional abuse is hard to prove.....

You can sue anyone you want . . .
The real question is - how probable is it that a judge will side with your story ?
How much proof do you have ? Did anyone see you locked up in a closet for days / & missed schooling ?
Do you have any evidence she used you for sexual activity ?
What is your real story ? you gave no clues here but if there is evidence of extreme deviant behavior you would be best approaching the DAs office for criminal prosecution .

Under our current system you can sue anyone for anything. This does not mean you will win but you can try. I seriousily doubt if you can win this one either but you can try if youve got enough proof to show that your mom has done irrepairable damage to you and your health. Good luck and Merry Christmas
